Bellawongarah (Aboriginal for black cockatoo) is a beautifully appointed spacious country retreat offering luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation for couples in either the country house or the heritage listed 1868 Church cottage. It is situated in the peaceful tranquillity of subtropical mountain rainforest surrounded by Black Ash Nature Reserve.

The location is on the mountain escarpment between Berry and Kangaroo Valley about two hours drive from Sydney and two and half hours from Canberra. The 1.3 acre property offers informal gardens, abundant local birdlife and magnificent native trees, ferns and many areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.

A unique feature is the picturesque heritage listed 1868 Wesleyan church which now provides a charming and secluded cottage for one couple, set in its own courtyard garden with full country breakfast provided each morning.

The main house is an elegant, contemporary three storey residence offering boutique bed and breakfast accommodation for up to three couples. All three rooms /suites overlook rainforest and informal gardens, and provide a tranquil luxurious retreat for our guests while they relax de-stress and enjoy the many attractions and activities that the local area has to offer including golf coursed, wineries, canoeing, bushwalking and horse riding.
