The Imperial is a landmark building in Broken Hill close to the central business district. The handsome grey stone building has been extensively renovated and converted into an elegant four and a half star hotel. Great care has been taken to give The Imperial guest rooms a home away from home feeling.
The Heritage listed building is wrapped in an iconic 3m lace and timber verandah, perfect for relaxing with a drink at looking over the Silver City.
There is a guest kitchenette at the end of the passage looking out over the rose gardens. Downstairs is the guest lounge with original pressed metal ceiling, comfortable chairs and an open fire. The former front bar now houses a full sized billiard table. Outside is a walled courtyard garden leading to the solar heated swimming pool encased by the original stable walls and looking for all the world like a piece of Tuscany (a bit like the weather).
