The Bower Retreat Cottage is set in the foothills of the Barrington Tops 15 kilometers from Dungog in magical Main Creek Valley. The very comfortable four bedroom cottage is fully self contained sleeping up to 10 persons.

A stay at the Bower Retreat is just not a stay but an experience. Along with all the comforts of home including a wood fire and air-conditioning, guests can enjoy that camping experience, luxuriating in the outdoor shower and loo with a view of creek area and enjoy a wonderful camp fire.

The cottage is set on a rainforest creek with walks taking you along the creek and around the 56 acre property. This area is a bird watchers paradise with over 90 species of birds recorded on property.

Children can have a taste of a farm exprience with cows and poultry to feed and large open areas for games and bikes. There is also a pool on the property with magnificent views of the Black Bulga Range.

The Bower Retreat is also pet friendly with an enclosed area in front of the cottage.

Fully catered for craft retreats are a feature of the Bower Retreat specialising in quilting, fabric dyeing, doll making and scrapbook workshops. There is a large studio on property with all the facilities required for workshops. This is an opportunity for you try a new art or craft or just make time for the craft you love, and enjoy a break in beautiful Main Creek with your friends. Experienced tutors are available for your retreat or you may choose to do your own thing.
