Ferndale Park is a 150 hectare grazing property on the banks of the Chichester River 24 kilometres north of Dungog. Bordering Barrington Tops National Park, Ferndale Park offers superb camping and caravan/campervan sites in a relaxed bush and riverside setting. On-site van and a comfortable holiday cottage are also available.

Powered sites available. Clean amenities including hot showers and flush toilets. The paymasters Office (CA 1915) is a restored historic shed with 240V with powered and lighting installed. This shed is available for hire for groups and those having celebrations. Can be used as back up accommodation for campers due to wet weather? A two bedroom cottage is also located in the area, having one double and two single beds plus trundle. Can easily accommodate five people, there is a log fire in the lounge area an outdoor gas barbecue.

Visitors to Ferndale can observe a great variety of native birdlife along the banks of the idyllic river pools; walk to nearby Chichester Dam or into rainforest areas of the National Park or simply laze on the river flats in glorious peacefulness. This is the perfect Australian countryside for camping!
