Experience a working dairy farm at Dairy Flat. Situated in the upper reaches of the Richmond River underneath Mt Lindesay and close to the World Heritage listed Border Ranges National Park. We offer self contained accommodation ranging from one bedroom cottage to the five bedroom homestead. Farmyard, calf feeding, cow milking, bush walking, bird watching, tennis and swimming pool available. Dairy Flat is primarily a dairy farm offering self contained accommodation in three separate cottages. The property is in a valley formed by the McPherson Range (Qld Border), with Mt Lindesay and Glennies Chair, both volcanic cores, forming the north/east boundaries of the property.

Enjoy a true family weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Dairy Flat offers you an authentic Australian rural dairy farm experience with plenty of activities for the entire family. After a full day of enjoyable activity relax on the homestead veranda, put your feet up with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the mountains.

All accommodation have full kitchen facilities, either wood stove or pot belly stove for the cold winter nights. Automatic washing machines and dryers (no linen provided). We have deliberately not installed television, radio or telephone in the cottages. All you need to bring is your food and linen. Urgent phone messages can be left with the manager. Begin your journey of discovery through the breathtakingly beautiful Upper Richmond Valley by staying at Dairy Flat Farmstay.
