Return to Moss Vale

If you are looking for a special experience - such as the absolute quietness and privacy of your own cottage set in hundreds of acres in the Southern Highlands - then The Pines Pastoral is the ultimate choice.

This is no usual cattle farm. Every cottage has its own features reflecting the specific history of the farm.

The Pines Pastoral offers private and peaceful self-contained cottages for one or two couples for short or long stay.

Guests have a choice between five classic cottages: Platypus Cottage which was originally a dairy farm, or Possums Cotage - a traditional Australian farmhouse with broad verandas, or Sugar Glider Cottage, which rises like a small chapel on top of its ridge. For those who appreciate unusual architecture, the modernist structure of Blue Wren and Brown Thornbill is a must.

Either enjoy the neighbouring villages (Moss Vale is only 7 kilometres away) or simply relax on the land. From your windows there is no shortage of rolling hills and the horizon is vast.

The Pines may be on the doorstep of Sydney, but it offers the feeling of space and quietness of a truly Australian farm.
