The White House has been catering for travellers since it was built in 1921.

The guest house has recently been restored and is well known for its friendly atmosphere and personal service. Set in pleasant surroundings The White House is a home with real character and is close to scenic walks and all facilities.

We provide relaxed and comfortable rooms, cosy library with open fire, off street parking and a friendly atmosphere. The Heritage Listed house offers many little extras: from a relaxing coffee / port by the open fire in the Library to the modern convenience of E-mail & Internet access. Enjoy chocolates on arrival or soak away the stresses of modern life in the restored cast iron claw foot bath.

Meals are available on those occasions you wish to eat in, these can be taken in the dining room or on the spacious veranda overlooking the extensive gardens. Your Hosts Ross and Louise Barnes are glad to offer local knowledge on things to see and do and they delight in making your accommodation an integral part of your holiday experience, you will feel right at home in this lovingly restored guest house.
