Ophir Gold Bed & Breakfast is hosted by Peter and Marilyn and is situated only seven minutes drive north east of the Orange Post Office. Ophir Gold is just the place to stop, relax and re-energize. Ideal for those who want to step out of the fast lane for a little while in a quiet, safe setting away from the bustle of the city.
Ophir Gold is also suitable for the corporate midweek guest, offering a pre-set menu evening meal. Peter and Marilyn have managed to incorporate the feeling of independence and privacy with the warmth of belonging, which is so much a part of the B & B experience. The mini-motel wing design gives each guest a feeling of space without being too far away from the main house, three fully self-contained rooms with own en suites (two king or twin/king singles and one queen sized bedroom). Each room has air-conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities; TV, electric blankets, sanitised linen and pillows.
Each room has its own entrance and overlooks a spacious courtyard.
Other facilities include a guest reading room, small lounge area, barbecue facilities, heated outdoor spa, table tennis, croquet and gold panning equipment (for panning nearby).
