An ideal base for bush walking, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching, touring Upper Hunter Country to visit renowned wineries, five national parks, Lake Glenbawn and to drive past world famous horse studs; or just relaxing and unwinding in splendid isolation.

Within easy driving distance of Sydney it is the ideal location for overseas visitors or the urban dweller to experience our Australian bush. More than 100 species of birds, abundant wildlife (sightings of wallabies guarantied), the tall timber of mountain forests, mountain streams, and temperate rainforest are all right here.

Excellent 4 Star accommodation built from local timber and with all external walls floor to ceiling glass the views are breathtaking.

Set in 1000 acres of wilderness, Craigmhor specialises in country hospitality, seclusion and solitude. Surrounded by magnificent views and is adjacent to Mt Royal and Barrington Tops National Parks and World Heritage Wilderness Area. As the only guests you can immerse yourself in the silence and solitude of the Australian bush.

The country hospitality of the Homestay/Farmstay and the Bed and Breakfast options features local Upper Hunter produce and wines.

For the freshwater fisherman, property dams are stocked with silver perch and Lake Glenbawn is just down the road.

For the adventurous, there is bushwalking, mountain biking and 4-WD off road tours of the property and surrounding district.
