POWERED SITE
Urunga Heads Holiday Park has 74 powered sites. Each site is located within a parkland setting, close to the crystal waters of the lagoon. Some have views across the beautiful Bellinger River. All are within walking distance of the river, the swimming area of the lagoon, the footbridge to the beach and the iconic break wall leading to the mouth of the river. A perfect location for those who enjoy leisurely strolls taking in a range of beautiful coastal scenes. The design of the Park allows ample space for guests and their cars; and quick access to amenities.
Unpowered Site
Urunga Heads Holiday Park has a good range of unpowered sites. All are located in a peaceful park setting within a short stroll of the iconic Urunga boardwalk. This footbridge stretches across the lagoon and follows the bank of the beautiful Bellinger River. Mangroves, soldier crabs, fish and an abundance of bird life can be viewed from the boardwalk. Unpowered sites at Urunga Heads Holiday Park make the most of the clear, grassed areas which are characteristic of the entire park and its surrounding parkland. Ample shaded areas and well kept grounds make for a very comfortable camping experience in this Park. The tent sites are located around the camp kitchen which has BBQ, fridges, microwaves and toasters for guest uses. There is also a tv room for guests enjoyment.
Cabin Accommodation
Urunga Heads Holiday Park offers clean, comfortable cabin accommodation for both families and singles. The park houses 11 family cabins (up to 6 persons) and 6 single room cabins (up to 2 persons) Choose on-site cabins complete with kitchens, bathrooms, separate bedrooms and family rooms. Families are especially catered for with spacious rooms and ample living areas. Each cabin has an external deck, some overlooking the water. Other cabins have views across the park and are positioned to make the most of the afternoon shade during hot summer months.
