The Whale Farm is situated between Dubbo (60km), Wellington (50km) and Mudgee
(70km) on the Dubbo-Mudgee Road. It is a working property of 1700 acres
(652 ha) and has been in the Whale family since settlement over 100 years ago.
The property is predominantly undulating country allowing for scenic farm
tours and where visitors can view the current farm operations - cropping,
sheep and cattle.
Guests are welcome to 'muck in' and help with the daily farm chores such as
milking the cow, feeding the ducks, chooks, geese, calves, dogs and horses.
During the warmer months, yabbying and fishing can also be arranged. A farm
tour is part of the package if desired.
