Return to Alice Springs

Located in a break of the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges, Glen Helen Resort is the climax to an adventurous and colourful drive, a little over an hour from Alice Springs. Indulge in a cold beer while relaxing at sunset on the back verandah of this restored station homestead, then you treat yourself to an excellent meal in the Namatjira Gallery Restaurant. Enjoy a swim through Glen Helen Gorge, hike in the ranges, raft up Redbank Gorge or take a scenic helicopter flight.

Full and half day tours to Palm Valley, Tnorala / Gosse Bluff, Redbank Gorge, Roma Gorge and Mount Sonder are available, as are transfers to and from Alice Springs. Make Glen Helen your base for exploring the West MacDonnell Ranges. Many people find one day is not enough to stay at Glen Helen and enjoy true outback hospitality - there is so much to see.
