Gilligan’s is Australia’s leading backpacker hotel and resort experience, offering you over 700 beds. This is the ultimate accommodation and leisure experience in North Queensland.

Modern rooms are set over four storeys with modern air-conditioned rooms, all with private en-suite bathrooms, a resort style pool with its own sandy beach, beach volley ball court, internet on all floors, modern laundry and there is a gymnasium on the fourth floor.

They have four, six and eight bed dormitories, which are all available in mixed and female only. They have four bedded deluxe dormitories with your own private balconies, which are equipped with television, fridge, hairdryer, complementary toiletries pack and towels. The four star hotel rooms (King/twin) have lashings of space, private balconies over looking the city.

Every floor has it’s own state of the art stainless steel guest kitchens and open television lounges. All facilities are what you would find in a resort.

Deluxe Hotel Suites
For those seeking a bit more comfort and privacy, their three-and-a-half star hotel rooms are complete with private bar fridge, television and lounge, yet still carry a budget price tag on a twin or double occupancy. Configurations can be made up of King size double or two king singles.
Dormitory Beds
Gilligan’s offers four and six bed dormitory rooms. All with air-conditioning, ensuites and king-sized single beds and most rooms have balconies. The ensuites can be used three ways (doors separating the shower, toilet and vanity) so there’s none of the difficulties regularly experienced with too few communal facilities.
