On the edge of World Heritage rainforest, you will discover a modern three-bedroom steel pole house set on four hectares of land for wildlife wedged into Girringun National Park. Creek Valley Rainforest Retreat is nature based and ideal for relaxation – “the peaceful privacy is perfect”. Accommodation is strictly non-smoking and suited for a maximum of eight guests, ideally four adults and up to four children.

The house features two main bedrooms, privately positioned diagonally opposite each other. The third bedroom is designed for children with a bunk bed, a single bed and a trundle. All rooms and a gourmet kitchen open on to a spacious living area with comfortable sofas and a dining table. A four-metre wide bi-fold door connects the living area with a shady veranda featuring a second eight–chair table setting.

The only sounds you will hear in the valley are those from wildlife and the running creek. The retreat is totally secluded, yet only 20 minutes north of Ingham, a well-supplied town with a strong Italian influence. The nearby Hinchinbrook Channel is a fishing mecca, the restored Tyto Wetlands form a birdwatchers paradise and the historic Dalrymple Gap Track is a must for hikers.
