The Alara Motor Inn is a beautifully presented four star motel, located approximately three minutes drive south of the city heart of Mackay. All 35 ground floor units have an undercover, off-street carpark, spilt system airconditioning and have recently been completely refurbished.

The fully licensed, a-la-carte Sea Winds restaurant has also been recently refurbished and offers a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy their renowned dishes and friendly service. They specialise in succulent steaks and local seafood, and open Monday to Saturday from 6.00 p.m. Guests may also choose to dine al fresco style on the terrace overlooking the tropical surrounds of the pool. Room service is also available seven nights a week.

For your enjoyment, the complex features an inviting sparkling salt water pool. There is a fully equipped guest laundry for your convenience. The Alara Motor Inn has fully equipped conference facilities that can be booked for meetings, interviews, functions as well as private dinners. Refreshments and equipment can be arranged.
