Yamacutta Rainforest Lodge is a stunning three bedroom high quality architect-designed property just six minutes from the magical Coral Sea Coast at Mission Beach in the heart of North Queensland's Wet Tropics. A modern adaptation of the traditional timber pole home, Yamacutta is in a commanding position at the head of a five acre clearing overlooking their tropical fruit orchard and Mount Mackay, all set in 12 acres of private protected rainforest.

A haven for wildlife including the endangered Southern Cassowary, they can offer total peace, privacy and tranquility. Nearby Mission Beach is a small relaxed resort offering a great selection of restaurants and shops for everyday needs as well as 13 kilometres of pristine palm-fringed sandy beach. Close offshore are the exclusive resorts of Dunk Island and Bedarra.

Activities include rainforest walks, eco tours, skydiving, white water rafting, scuba-diving and snorkelling on the nearby Great Barrier Reef, golf, fishing, sailing, watersports. It's an ideal touring base.

Yamacutta is available for Holiday Rental and occasionally for Bed and Breakfast. Staff can also help arrange an exclusive holiday tailor-made to suit you.
