Spectacular coastal views, a tranquil environment and luxurious villas, are just some of the attractions of the exclusive Ruffles Lodge. Perched on a ridge with expansive views, Ruffles is situated in the Gold Coast hinterland only eight minutes from the motorway and five kilometres from Dreamworld.

A very private place, the lodge is set on 50 acres with beautiful landscaped gardens and surrounding eucalypt forest. Walk the gardens or the one kilometre track surrounding the lodge and enjoy the ever-changing moods of nature.

For the business person who would prefer to stay somewhere very different in a friendly atmosphere, they have high-speed data connections in the villas. Notebook computer can be supplied in villas if requested.

Fine tune your golf on the 85 metre par three practice area, relax by the 19 metre heated pool and therapeutic spa or enjoy one of the many treatments in the new Day Spa. Golfers have the choice of 18 courses within 35 minutes of the lodge (including public and resort courses).

Ruffles Lodge can book your golf and their vehicle is available for transfers.

Services for Ruffles Lodge

Garden Villa
Garden Villas are separate to the main lodge with Villa one and two each separated by a porch and Villa three stands alone. All have 180 degree views across the rural land of the Gold Coast Hinterland, to the Broadwater and ocean beyond. The Coomera River meanders from behind hills to the south into the foreground where it joins the Broadwater. The high-rise buildings of Surfers Paradise can clearly be seen to the south and at dusk the skyline becomes a panorama of lights. The interior design of the lodges is one of style and warmth with beautiful aged timbers used throughout. Each has its own covered deck and the bathrooms are large and well appointed. Beds are king size, (single beds also provided).
Executive Suite
The Executive Suite situated at the northern end of the Lodge with spectacular views from the living room to the coast and a northerly aspect across the valley from the spacious bedroom. The overall size of the suite is 86 square metres. The suite also has it's own private garden. The bedroom has a King size bed, television, large deck with comfortable outdoor furniture and the beautifully appointed bathroom has a spa bath. High timber ceilings, glass sliding doors, timber louvres, aged timber flooring, overhead fans. Like the bedroom, the living room is air conditioned and for your winter comfort, there is a wood fire. There is a plasma screen television, DVD and sound system, and as in the villas there is a high speed internet connection.
Chums' Spa Villas
Chums' is the only two storey accommodation at Ruffles and is affectionately known as "Chums' Up" and "Down". Chums Up has a large deck area with a day bed and has filtered views to the coast and valley to the north. The outlook over the large gardens is pleasant and gives a feeling of peace. To maximize the outlook from Chums Down they have included sliding glass doors and patios on both sides. They are both 63 square metres and have sunny northerly aspects. Up has a Queen size bed and Down a King and spacious bathrooms with double Spas. The living areas are equipped with log gas fires for winter comfort and 42 inch Plasma televisions and sound systems, and wireless internet connections.
Treehouse Pool Villa
These three new Villas are situated 200 metres from the main Lodge and are built into the side of the hill, “pole house” style. There are breathtaking views from the plunge pool and two decks. Attached to each Villa is undercover parking and a place for the golf buggy, which can be used to move between the Villa and the Lodge. The bedroom is on a mezzanine level, two steps below is the living area leading to the deck and pool areas. The bathroom with its free-standing Spa bath also has spectacular views. For winter comfort and atmosphere each Villa has a Log fire and air-conditioning. They have a total area of 61 sq metres not including the decks or pool.
