Pink Roadhouse Oodnadatta - Oodnadatta

Our Oodnadatta van park is 200 kilometres north of Coober Pedy on a junction with the Oodnadatta Track, in Oodnadatta. We offer the usual powered sites for vans, tents and tour groups and a range of clean ensuite cabins and air-conditioned rooms.

We are part of the Pink Roadhouse and our services include big breakfasts, internet, a licensed cafe, mini-mart with fresh everything (three deliveries weekly), a Post Office, automatic teller machine, EFTPOS, pool, tyre fitting, even avgas, but no LPG yet, 24 hour vehicle recovery and transport to anywhere, including aircraft charter.

We're surrounded by unsealed roads but vehicle damage is rare. We offer a website and 1800 phone number for personal advice on tyre preparation, weather and road surface updates for the five roads around Oodnadatta, like the Painted Desert, Finke, Marla, Dalhousie Thermal Ponds and Simpson Desert.

Relax with a drink in hand on the elevated Sunset Deck at the Pink Roadhouse and look over our corrugated village. Our staff is our strength; they are a mixture of locals and world travellers so you'll have plenty to talk about. Remember, 'book early when there's a cattle/horse event on', like the annual Picnic Races or Bronco Branding.

If you prefer to 'camp wild' we'll show you where nearby, when you agree to leave no trace, and you can shower at the van park.
