Bay View Holiday Village offers oceanfront, self-contained park cabins and powered sites, at Devonport

A comfortable home away from home, your fully equipped self-contained cabin means easy living. You can devote yourself to exploring and enjoying northern Tasmania. Or choose a serviced site for your campervan or caravan.

Wake to a view of the Mersey River entering Bass Strait - the oceanfront is at the end of the street, and after breakfast head out to explore the local attractions. In Devonport there’s the Tiagarra Aboriginal Museum, Home Hill (home of Joseph and Enid Lyons, just as they left it), the Devonport Gallery and Arts Centre, the Maritime Museum.

A short drive away you can take a steam train ride on the historic Don River Railway. Further afield paddle a canoe on Lake Barrington, visit Sheffield the town of murals (around 47 murals), the limestone caves at Mole Creek, or day trip to Cradle Mountain and do one of the many bushwalks in this world heritage area.

While you’re out buy local cheese, fish, fruit, cream and wine for a relaxed dinner in your cabin, or you might light to try some local fare at one of Devonport’s many fine restaurants.
