Birchmore of Devonport offers traditional bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Devonport.

Birchmore of Devonport offers four and a half star accommodation in two elegant two-storey terrace houses built around 1890 for the lighthouse keeper. You'll have old style comfort and services, and modern facilities. There are seven ensuite rooms with television, clock radio, refrigerator, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, video player and ironing facilities. There is a laundry service and free off street parking.

Birchmore is right next to the Mersey River but only a minutes walk from the centre of Devonport, for restaurants, shopping and business.

Speaking of business, each suite has a desk and phone, and there's a fax machine available and a comfortable room that you can book for meetings and presentations.

After a busy day, working or playing, you'll sleep soundly in a Birchmore bed and wake ready for a hearty breakfast served in the conservatory.

Devonport is an ideal location for a base for touring in Tasmania’s north-west. Once you’ve visited Devonport’s attractions, inland Cradle Mountain National Park is within 90 minutes drive, along the way visit Sheffield known as the town of murals, and visit a vineyard at Barrington.
