Cameo Cottage (c.1914) is a delightful two-bedroom home, beside the Mersey River in Devonport.

Cameo Cottage is a fully self-contained renovated cottage set in a lovely cottage style garden. It has a new fully equipped kitchen, the bathroom has a claw-foot bath, and it’s furnished in a modern country style. It’s ideally located for a quite, relaxing, private stay. The two bedrooms offer a queen-size bed and two singles. There are barbeque facilities and off street under cover parking. Generous breakfast provisions are also provided.

For those who like an early morning or evening stroll, there are walking/cycle tracks beside the river. Some people may even like to try their luck at fishing.

The main central business district is within easy walking distance and it’s close to banks, supermarkets, restaurants and shops.

Devonport has an 18-hole golf course, an Olympic pool, and safe swimming beaches, and at nearby Don River you can take a steam railway trip.

Devonport is a perfect location to make your base and enjoy many day trips. Visit nearby Latrobe with it’s many antique shops, restaurants, House of Anvers chocolate factory, platypus, day trip to Cradle Mountain, stop off at Sheffield, the town of Murals.
