Devonport YHA-Mac Wright House offers hostel accommodation in Devonport on the north west coast of Tasmania.

Devonport YHA is a large old style house offering shared kitchen, barbeque and laundry facilities and access to nearby facilities including tennis court.

There are nine bedrooms, two sleeping eight people, 2 sleeping six, one sleeping four, two single rooms and two family rooms, all have shared bathroom facilities.

There is a reading room, a large sitting/dining room with television, and from the veranda there are panoramic views of the Great Western Tiers and Quamby Bluff.

Devonport is located on the central coast of northern Tasmania making it an ideal location to base yourself and explore all northern Tasmania has to offer. You can easily day trip to Sheffield known for its pioneering town murals, Leven Canyon and Cradle Mountain National Park. Day trip to Launceston and explore it and the vineyards and many attractions of the Tamar Valley. At nearby Port Sorell you can meet some of the native wildlife and bird life at Narawntapu National Park.

Do some cheese, whisky and vodka tasting at Burnie, visit historic Stanley, take in the beautiful rugged coastline of Rocky Cape National Park.
