Conveniently located right next to the Spirit of Tasmania terminal is Edgewater; Devonport’s complete accommodation complex. Edgewater is right on the banks of the Mersey River and central to all amenities – minutes from the airport, a short ferry ride to Devonport’s CBD and a stone’s throw away from the beach.

There is a range of accommodation, from budget units through to tasteful Terraces and Executive suites with private balcony and spa bath. All accommodation features king-size beds, private ensuite, AUSTAR, air-conditioning, wireless internet and tea/coffee making facilities. Recent renovations mean modern conveniences come standard in the majority of rooms. Some suites also have kitchenettes.

The on-site Bistro is open for breakfast and dinner. There is also a bar and bottle shop on site.

Edgewater is an ideal base from which to explore Cradle Mountain, Sheffield, Leven Canyon, historic Stanley, Dismal Swamp, Mole Creek Caves and Launceston. Try some local delicacies nearby, including Anvers Chocolate Factory, Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and Ashgrove Cheeses.

In Devonport visit Tiagarra Aboriginal Centre, Devonport Maritime Museum, Don River Railway, and Imaginarium Science Centre - interactive museum.

For great hospitality and unbeatable value for money, stay and play a little while at Edgewater
