Keswick is adjacent to 13 kilometres of walking and bike track, which wind along the river and seashore amongst the tall Eucalypts, Melaleucas and native bird life, past Mersey Bluff and beaches to the Don River. The Don River has a scenic railway where you can take ride on a historic steam train.

Keswick is within fifteen minutes walk to Devonport’s shopping mall, Gallery and Arts Centre, restaurants, tennis courts and lawn bowls, and Bluff Beach.

Nearby Latrobe offers numerous antique shops to explore, Anvers Chocolate Factory for a total chocolate experience, and the opportunity for a platypus encounter.

Keswick is an ideal central base for day trips to the World Heritage Wilderness Area of Cradle Mountain, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Caves, Devils Gullet, and Trowunna Wildlife Park and the limestone caves at Mole Creek.

Or visit the towns of Sheffield, the town of murals, and Stanley known for its landmark The Nut (geological formation) and its scenic chairlift, a town steeped in history.
