Post House Cottage, Fentonbury is a restored building in the Derwent Valley offering self-contained accommodation. The cottage, just 10 minutes drive from Mount Field National Park, provides the peace and tranquillity of a rural setting with all the comforts of home.

This 1900s, fully restored cottage is set in its own garden. It is spacious and very comfortable. The cottage is fully equipped with all modern appliances. It has a living room, kitchen/dining, bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twin beds. A large veranda provides a peaceful area for outdoor eating or just relaxing.

Post House Cottage is set on a small farm with alpacas, sheep, ducks and hens. Saffron is grown on the property.

Post House Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Derwent Valley, with its oast houses, hop farms, the famous Russell Falls at Mount Field, the Styx Valley, Lake Pedder and local historic towns such as Hamilton and Bothwell. Or just relax; look out for the spectacular wildlife/bird display. Watch the Kookaburras feed; see eagles soar over Belcher's Point or the many species of wrens.

There is a Petanque piste and boules equipment available.
