Return to Flinders Island

Elvstan Beach Cottage provides comfortable accommodation on Flinders Island, north east of mainland Tasmania. Enjoy vistas over the sea to offshore islands from your cottage.

The modern cottage has two-bedrooms and is directly across the road from the beach. Everything is provided in this beach getaway, including a fully-equipped kitchen with microwave oven, en suite bathroom and laundry facilities with washing machine. The convenience of courtesy transfers and optional babysitting is also available. The outdoor barbecue is ideal for warm summer evenings as you watch the sun sink down. The cheerful blue and yellow colour scheme reflects the beach setting and you can enjoy the water views from your dining table. Everything is provided and food is available to buy locally. A short stroll brings you to all that Whitemark has to offer and yet the cottage could still be classed as out of town.

Head down to the water and cast a fishing line in from the beach or organise a fishing charter for deep-sea fishing. Explore the island on foot, experience a four-wheel-drive tour through remote areas of the island or simply relax in your cottage.

Flinders Island is a 45-minute flight away from Launceston or Melbourne.
