Return to Flinders Island

Healing Dreams Retreat offers health and wellbeing treatments, meditation workshops and massage on Flinders Island. The acclaimed eco-resort sits at the foot of Mount Strzelecki, overlooking Bass Strait.

There are eight en suite rooms with ocean views, an outdoor spa, gymnasium and yoga retreat. Most rooms can accommodate two guests with two smaller rooms suitable for one guest. Meals are prepared with organic produce, mostly harvested from the onsite gardens. Choose from a continental bed and breakfast option or a fully-catered stay. This includes a cooked breakfast, morning and afternoon teas, two-course lunch and a three-course evening meal.

Design your own program or take part in a holiday that is designed to restore and relax you. Choose to explore your dreams with David Tresemer, who has a Ph.D. in psychology from Harvard University. At various times throughout the year an Ayurveda clinic (an ancient east Indian traditional medicine) is offered. The island is an excellent place to build your fitness. Go cycling, walking, swimming or work out in the small gymnasium. There is a resident masseuse.

Fly to Flinders Island from Launceston (35 minutes) or from Melbourne (75 minutes).
