Yakkalla Holiday Cottage offers self-contained accommodation on Flinders Island, north east of Tasmania.

Yakkalla Holiday Cottage is situated on the grounds of Yakkalla Farm. Up to five guests can be accommodated in the two-bedroom cottage. The main bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with single bunk above. There is an open living and dining area with a television and DVD player. A compact kitchen is equipped with microwave, conventional oven and small refrigerator. The cottage has a modern bathroom and laundry facilities and there is also access for guests with a disability. Surrounded by mountains and native bush, the property has views of the Darling Ranges and Strzelecki National Park from the front porch.

You can explore Flinders Island’s mountains, beaches and bushland on a scenic flight, boat charter, fishing or scuba tour. Walk the tracks through native bushland near your cottage or drive south to the Strzelecki National Park to climb mountains and see native wildlife including wallabies, possums, wombats, and echidnas.

Flinders Island is located 20 kilometres from the Tasmanian coast, a 40-minute flight from Launceston (151 kilometres) and an hour from Melbourne.
