Bears Went Over the Mountain is located right in the heart of Geeveston, southern Tasmania.

It is the perfect base for unwinding and exploring all the great attractions and scenery of Tasmania's Far South, and ideally situated for visiting the acclaimed Tahune Forest Air Walk, Eagle Hang Gliding, Hastings Caves and of course the magnificent Hartz Mountains.

All guests arriving mid-afternoon are served Devonshire Tea. The guest lounge is a spacious and comfortable area to relax in. Enjoy a fresh coffee or perhaps a glass of wine.
