Cleburne offers heritage bed and breakfast accommodation 15 minutes from Hobart General Post Office and Salamanca. Our three unique suites have original contemporary art and distinctive heritage features and are set in the original homestead, cottage and converted stable on four acres of grounds.
All rooms have queen beds en suite bathrooms, heating, television, DVD player, electric blanket, refrigerator, micro wave, tea/coffee making facilities, clock radio and hair dryer. The bakehouse has a free-standing bath.
Cleburne is on the banks of the River Derwent close to Moorilla and the Museum of Old and New Art, Elwick Racecourse, the Royal Showgrounds and the Derwent Entertainment Centre. The Coal Valley wine district, Richmond and New Norfolk are a short drive away.
At Cleburne you will experience an eclectic blend of furnishings; bold, modern art and luxury, contrasted with raw 1820’s stone and timber. Delicious breakfasts are served in the grand dining room or on the homestead veranda.
We acknowledge Tasmanian Aborigines as the traditional owners of the land on which these buildings stand and honour the Mumirimina people who were killed at the Risdon Cove massacre in May 1804.
