Maydena Country Cabins Accommodation & Alpaca Stud is located in Maydena in Tasmania’s south. It offers four star self-contained cabin, or bed and breakfast accommodation.

The cabins are one and two bedroom, fully self-contained with balcony views, modern furnishings, quality entertainment equipment, and a range of music you can listen to. In house bed and breakfast with enviable service is another option.

The property is positioned above the town of Maydena to take advantage of the glorious mountain views.

During the summer months our BBQ facilities are available and supplies can be purchased from our two convenience stores in town.

Our alpacas are amazing and they do like to have their photos taken with you and especially the young cria who are particularly soft and cuddly.

This region offers so much; Mt field National Park at our doorstep, Russell falls, the worlds’ tallest hardwood tree in the Styx Valley. Maydena is the gateway to the world heritage area South West National Park. We have a large caving system finishing at the Junee Caves, the mighty Strathgordon Dam at Lake Pedder and Lake Gordon. Trout fishing and walking are just another experience to partake in.
