Penguin Valley Farm, in Tasmania’s northwest, offers bed and breakfast cabin accommodation for two. The 20-hectare farm is located in 60 acres of wooded valley, close to the pretty coastal village of Penguin.

The farm’s self-contained cabin, which overlooks Penguin Creek, has a fully-equipped kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Other facilities include a television, compact disc and video player and a book and video library. Breakfast provisions are supplied, and there is an outdoor barbecue. The cabin is also close to the farmhouse where guests are always welcome.

Penguin Valley Farm also has a market garden, hardwood plantation and native bushland. You can swim at the nearby beaches or watch penguins return to their burrows at dusk. Other local attractions include vineyards, museums, galleries and short walks.
