Built in 1839 and originally used as a barn, the restored Red Brier Cottage can accommodate four guests in one double and one twin bedroom. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with provisions for a country breakfast, large bathroom with a double spa bath and a laundry. The living room has a wood heater, and the cottage is set among flower gardens, with convict-built stone walls and a sandstone verandah.
Red Brier Cottage is in the centre of Richmond, a village famous for its Georgian architecture. Discover the convict history of the town, browse the galleries and shops or relax in a cafe or restaurant. Visit the Richmond Gaol and Richmond Bridge - Australia's oldest - or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through town.
