Church Mouse Cottage offers fully self-contained accommodation in the historic town of Ross, Tasmania.

Unwind in one of the oldest surviving Sunday School buildings in Australia. Mouse Cottage has one bedroom with en suite, appointed with a delightful queen-size four poster bed. A combustion wood heater and fully equipped kitchen provide modern comforts and breakfast provisions are included. The cottage also has private laundry facilities.

Relax within the high walls adorned with hand-painted friezes and enjoy views out the French windows to grazing sheep, picket fences and the church spire. Prepare your lunch on kitchen benches made from the original Sunday School stage. Ross’s leafy streets invite you for a stroll. Marvel at old sandstone buildings, mellow in the sunlight. Once a bustling garrison town, Ross is now a peaceful country village. Try playing a tune on the original Sunday School organ and enjoy a cut lunch down by the historic Ross Bridge. This quaint cottage is just a few doors from the main street of Ross where antique shops and cafes await you.

Located 78 kilometres (48 miles) south of Launceston, Ross is approximately an hours’ drive along the Midlands Highway.
