Abbey's Spa Cottage - Stanley

Abbey’s Spa Cottage offers self-contained heritage accommodation at Stanley on Tasmania’s northwest coast. Stanley is a one-and-a-half hour drive from Devonport, (127 km) and two-and-a-half hours from Launceston (231 km).

The master bedroom in Abbey's Spa Cottage has a lacy, four poster bed and sea views. The second queen room has a canopy bed and there is a third bedroom with two single beds. There is a large fully-equipped country kitchen, a laundry, and the bathroom has a double corner spa and separate shower. The lounge room has a wood heater, television VCR and CD player. Continental breakfast provisions and complimentary port are supplied.

Stanley is a classified historic town. You can explore its beautifully preserved 19th century buildings, browse through craft shops and potteries or visit local tearooms. The Nut is a dramatic geological feature of the area. Discovered by explorers Bass and Flinders in 1798, the 143m high Nut is the stump of an ancient volcano. You can try the challenging climb to the top, or take the chairlift to enjoy breathtaking ocean views.
