Anthonys at Highfield (c.1828) offers self-contained cottage accommodation at Stanley on Tasmania’s north west coast.

Anthonys at Highfield is a substantial weatherboard cottage is next to the main house on the historic Highfield Estate, in a splendid setting at the base of the Green Hills bordering the quaint old fishing port of Stanley. It has three bedrooms and accommodates six people. It has full kitchen and laundry facilities.

Relax in the old-world charm of this historic but comfortable cottage and soak up the atmosphere of rural peace and tranquillity as you wander in the spacious sheltered gardens.

Its only a short walk down to the private secluded coastline where you can beach comb, fish from the rocks, watch sea birds and breathe in the cleanest air in the world. The delightful town centre is a five-minute stroll away along the main surfing beach. You’ll enjoy its craft shops, fine restaurants and fresh seafood. Walk the track up The Nut or take the chairlift and marvel at more of those splendid views.

Bring your horses - holding yards are available - and ride along 11 kilometres of beaches and the quiet country roads.
