Return to Lakes Entrance

Built between 1900/1910, Pomora House offers you the Old-world charm and tranquillity of yesteryear coupled with the convenience of modern facilities.

The Beautiful Garden at Pomora House is home to a variety of native birds and some very old trees. It is a delight to sit outside watching the birds feeding, feeling the gentle breezes off the lake, listening to the ocean. "The Old Shed", a relaxing guests BBQ and entertaining area is also a feature of the garden.

Double and Queen size suites have private en-suite bathrooms, electric heating, ceiling fans, period furnishings and individual, covered entries. The Dining room overlooks the lake, where you will be served with a sumptuous home cooked English style breakfast.. You can choose from cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, free range eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, juices, tea and coffee

Pomora House is conveniently situated opposite Cunninghame Arm and only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants via the town's excellent walking paths.

Centrally placed, parks, state forests, bowling greens and 2 golf courses are all within easy reach. Pomora House forms part of the history of Lakes Entrance and is one of the few original homes left, as time and progress have seen many houses demolished and rebuilt. It has a very interesting history.
