Apartment 112 - Melbourne

Delightful studio apartment in Melbourne CBD with pleasant outlook to own courtyard garden. Eclectic mix of modern and antique furnishings in 1890 s heritage building.

High (3.8m) ceiling open space comprises living, dining and study areas, with mezzanine bed loft and library. Across corridor to swimming pool, spa, gym and barbecues.

Apartment 112 provides a unique opportunity for one to two people to experience life in the heart of Melbourne as a "local" rather than simply as a "visitor".

It starts with collecting the newspaper from the courtyard (it'll be there somewhere but it's not always easy to find); logging on to check e-mails and review "What's On" and "Half-Tix" listings for the day; sitting down to breakfast while in your dressing gown and checking the "Good Food" and "Cheap Eats" guides for lunch or dinner outings; and if you ever have a problem then ask your neighbours (your hosts next door).

Apartment comprises:

* Kitchen: Fully equipped with hotplates, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and pantry (re-stocked with basic provisions before arrival).

* Bathroom includes toilet, full bath, shower and linen cupboard which includes changes to bedding (both beds) and towels.

* Main room includes dining table, sofa-bed, television, HiFi CD/DVD, study desk and PC with ADSL internet access.

* Mezzanine loft has double bed and library (books, games, CDs, DVDs).

* Own courtyard has herb garden, shade umbrellas and dining table.

* Security access to large central courtyard with swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym and barbecues.

Close to everything, including free City Circle tram ( 2-5 minute walk to Southern Cross Station, inter-state/ regional trains, coaches, Sky Bus airport link).

Please note:

* Non-smoking (smoke alarms throughout building)

* No pets allowed

* Noise curfew (11:30pm) throughout building

* Steep narrow staircase to mezzanine level may not be accessible to persons with impaired mobility
