Tambo River Tourist Park - Swan Reach

The Tambo River Tourist Park is small and friendly, and pets are welcome by arrangement. Located on the Princes Highway at Swan Reach, between Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance, and close to Metung, with easy access to the Gippsland Lakes, rivers, beaches, mountains and forests.
The Park offers grassed camping sites, all with power, water and sullage disposal. Clean amenities and laundry are provided. There is a camp kitchen and undercover barbecue area, a separate recreation room with a wood fire heater, lounges and television, a well stocked library and a table tennis table. There is a large in-ground, solar heated outdoor swimming pool, and a playground suitable for small children.
The tennis court and oval at the local Recreation Reserve behind the park are available for guests to use, there are several great golf courses within a short drive; and the Tambo River, a very popular fishing destination, is only 200 metres from the park. Cyclists and walkers can enjoy the nearby Rail Trail, and there is something for everyone on The Twin Rivers Food and Wine Trail.
Ensuite cabins are clean and comfortable, with kitchen facilities, bed linen provided to all sleeping positions, and reverse cycle air conditioning. The cabins sleep from 2 to 6 people, and are popular with families and groups.
Tambo River Tourist Park is well situated to enjoy all that East Gippsland has to offer, and is on the route from Melbourne to Canberra or Sydney. Caravans, campers, and self drive holiday makers are all welcome.

- Standard Cabin
- Sleeps four with one Double bed and bunk beds. Cabins are available in one, two and three bedroom options. All beds have bottom sheets and pillows with pillow slips and donnas. All of cabins have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Kitchens are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and tea towels. Please note Guests will need to bring any extra bedding required for beds,and their own bath towels. Towels may be hired for an extra fee.
- Standard Bunkhouse
- Sleeps up to 8 people, featuring a Double Bed and three Bunk Beds. All beds have bottom sheets and pillows with pillow slips and donnas All cabins have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Kitchens are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and tea towels. Please note Guests will need to bring any extra bedding required for beds,and their own bath towels. Towels may be hired for an extra fee.
- Ensuite Air-Conditioned Cabin
- Sleeps up to five with two bedrooms including two Double beds and one bunk. All cabins have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.
