Situated in the heart of York, Faversham House is a historic National Trust and Heritage Council (Western Australia) luxury guest house and conference / function centre.
Set in five acres of garden and vineyard, you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah whilst enjoying the views to Mount Brown. A choice of homemade breads, jams and poached fruits make sure that no one leaves the table hungry after our gorgeous home-style buffet breakfast.
Faversham House offers a choice of seven spacious air conditioned bedrooms with en-suite or private bathrooms in the mansion, and an elegant comfortable drawing room and verandahs.. Select a book from our eclectic and ever growing library or just have a good old fashioned chat with your companion.
Also available are six bedrooms set around the picturesque courtyard, with reverse cycle air-conditioning and sharing modern bathroom facilities. Guests of the courtyard take breakfast in the dining hall and also have access to the gardens.

- Courtyard rooms
- The Garden Courtyard has six bedrooms, all air-conditioned and facing onto a central herb garden. Outdoor furniture under the pergola and on the terrace provides a perfect sheltered setting to capture the sun's last rays. Guests share a spacious lounge with tea and coffee facilities, television and fridge. Four courtyard rooms each have a double bed, with a fifth having a double bed and an additional single bed. A sixth larger room has a queen size bed. Additional sleeping is available with two sofa beds, which can be utilised for a larger group booking. These courtyard rooms have shared bathroom facilities for groups (three bathrooms), as well as sharing the Faversham House facilities when part of a single house booking. Alternatively single room bookings can be assigned their own private bathroom upon request subject to other bookings. All Faversham guest rooms provide toiletries, towelling bathrobes and tea and coffee facilities for guest use.
- Pepper Tree Suite
- The spacious Pepper Tree Suite is fully air-conditioned and has an en-suite. Pepper Tree is one of the guests' favourites and offers a king size bed that can convert to a twin bed if required (additional charge applies). The room overlooks the majestic old pepper tree and the northern garden and affords wonderful winter sunshine. There is also a comfortable sitting area. - East Indies Suite
- The East Indies suite is a gorgeous romantic king size fourposter with en-suite bathroom. There is also s comfortable settee with reading area. Facing onto the front verandah this room is spacious yet intimate. Perfect for a romantic breakaway and includes towelling robes and tea and coffee making facilities. Fully air-conditioned for your comfort, winter or summer.
- Rose Room
- The Rose room is the most private of all the bedrooms. It is air-conditioned and has a king size bed (can convert to twin) and a spacious bathroom adjacent.
