Located on the 'Bendooley' property, just up the driveway from the Rare Book Department, the Berkelouws Berrima Book Barn houses over 300,000 second hand books. A huge converted barn, complete with a hayloft and surrounded by paddocks, cattle and all manner of rural paraphernalia, the Book
Barn is the kind of place where you can easily lose track of the time. It is packed to the rafters with tones on hundreds of subjects - from classic fiction,
treatise on the occult to aviation manuals.
We encourage our customers to make a day of their visit. Browse at a leisurely pace for as long as you like. In winter, curl up in front of our fireplace.
Then, when you're all browsed out, take a seat at our cafe and enjoy some lunch and a coffee.
