You will find a replica of a settler's home, delightfully reconstructed with
period furniture and household artefacts of the time, a lifestyle with both
its difficulties and joys experienced by our forefathers.
Exhibited in a shed are a wide range of tools, plus hand and horse operated
machinery of yesteryear. Harness, saddles and horse drawn vehicles
graphically display the mode of transport of the past. A fascinating
presentation of an early settler's home, surrounded by trees and flowers in an
old fashioned garden setting.
The Pioneer Cottage has an authentic 'lived in' atmosphere.
