The Heritage Walk leads you to view the beauty Newcastle East possesses. The sites and surroundings included in the walk are Customs House, the Convict Lumber Yard, Fort Scratchley, Newcastle Ocean Baths and Beach, Christ Church Cathedral, and several historic convict-era buildings. The Heritage Walk is a self-guided tour that follows a path about 3 kilometres in length and will take between one and a half and two hours to comfortably walk.
