Narrabeen Beach is one of four beaches in a 3 kilometre stretch of sand. The surf clubs mark the progression from Collaroy to South Narrabeen, Narrabeen and North Narrabeen. North Narrabeen National Surfing Reserve was declared in October 2009 and covers 50 hectares of land and water along one kilometre of coastline.

Conditions appear similar at any point for swimmers, although surfers are aware of the differences. Rip currents form along the entire length of the beach. These are dangerous regardless of where you swim, although South Narrabeen and Narrabeen are safer than the far north, so swim between the flags.

Finding the beach is simply a matter of turning off Pittwater Road or following Ocean Street as far north as you wish to go.

At South Narrabeen at the end of Clarke Street is a small park, off Pittwater Road, you'll find the surf club and all the facilities you are likely to need. On Ocean Street there is a large car park, toilets and showers on the corner of Robertson Street. The Narrabeen SLSC lies opposite grand old Furlough House on Ocean Street, across a stretch of land that has been made into a large park with picnic tables, a single barbecue, toilets and showers.

Features: Surf, toilets and showers.
