Wingham Brush - Wingham
Wingham Brush is located on the banks of the Manning River at Wingham.
The brush is a regenerated rainforest remnant, one of the few remaining
remnants on the east coast.
The brush is home to wildlife such as brush turkeys, thousands of grey-headed
Flying Foxes and many other mammals and nearly 100 species of birds.
There is a boardwalk through the brush, which takes you past the gigantic Moreton
Bay fig trees, the giant stinging trees and many other varieties of vegetation.
Picnic tables and barbecues are provided along the riverbank.
