Visit JD's Jam factory, home of the mouth watering Young Maid jams, sauces, pickles and chutneys, which is situated in Young, The Cherry Capital of Australia.
A unique product range consists of over 130 different varieties of jams and sauces based on Jan and Lester Donges' traditional family recipes and 25 years of quality fruit growing experience.
As the aroma of the cooking wafts throughout, visitors are invited to linger in the Licensed Restaurant and enjoy lunch or Devonshire Tea with Cherry Pie and cream.
Free guided tours of the factory and taste testing and purchase of Cherry Wine
and Port are available. There is a gift shop, beautiful gardens, functions centre and childrens
playground.
The function room seats up to 120, overlooking the town of Young. Perfect for weddings, parties and private functions.
