Lake Bennett is located 87 kilometres south of Darwin on the Stuart Highway, near the small town of Batchelor.

This man made lake is ideal for safe swimming, canoeing and fishing. The lake is mainly stocked with barramundi. Other activities include a golf driving range, mini golf, mountain biking, kyacking, bushwalking and bird watching.

Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort is situated on the banks of Lake Bennetter and offers accommodation, conference facilities, licensed restaurant and bar.
