Accessible by 4x4 only, the stock route around Augathella is designed to follow in the footsteps of the sheep and cattle men of Australia.Discover a totally different way of life.

You will find all the 'constructions' used by drovers to control their herds. Spear traps, sheep brakes and pit sawmills, all played a part in developing this rugged land we call the Outback.

A detailed map and directions are available at either the Charleville or Augathella Information Centres. Please note that the Augathella 4x4 Stock Route Trail can be closed for maintenance and for up to two weeks after rain.
