Return to Lyndoch

Schild Estate's vineyards include some of the oldest in Australia including the famous Moorooroo vineyard near Jacobs Creek, which was planted in the 1850s. Vineyard site selection has favoured the cooler, southern end of the Barossa near Lyndoch, which enjoys a slower and longer ripening period - perfect for optimum grape flavour.

The Schild Estate Cellar Door is located at the main intersection in Lyndoch and is easily recognised with its 'sandstone and sails' architecture. Visitors can enjoy tasting wines, which have a reputation for ripe, generous fruit flavour at a price that's just as easy to swallow!

Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will show you our range of award winning wines, which can be enjoyed either at the bar or in the courtyard with a food platter showcasing delicious Barossa produce. These wines are spearheaded by the iconic Moorooroo Shiraz and demonstrate Schild Estate's regional integrity.
