Lincoln National Park/ Memory Cove Wilderness Protection Area - Port Lincoln
Lincoln National Park is a rugged peninsula of cliffs, sand dunes, sheltered bays and sandy beaches just 20 kilometres from Port Lincoln.
It is the perfect destination for a summer holiday providing everything from swimming beaches at Boston Bay to isolated coastal wilderness areas.
Take the short hike up Stamford Hill, which offers spectacular 360-degree views across the coast.
You can access most of Lincoln National Park in two-wheel drive vehicles including numerous shady camping areas near bays and beaches perfect for boating and fishing.
Overnight accommodation is available at Donington Cottage, a charming lighthouse keeper’s homestead.
Head to Memory Cove Wilderness Protection Area where five campsites are available and access is limited to 15 four-wheel drive vehicles a day. Camp under trees and spend idyllic days looking out over the water. A key is needed to access the area, available from the Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre.
